For now, Dune: Awakening stands as a promising, atmospheric, occasionally arresting survival MMO that has not fully solved its own contradictions. The onboarding needs streamlining, the grind still needs trimming, and the MMO layer still feels like it is reaching for its eventual shape. But the essentials are stronger than the rough edges. Arrakis feels dangerous. Survival feels meaningful. The ambition feels real. That is enough to make this worth tracking closely, and for the right audience, worth jumping into now.
