Current safe code reporting has one important catch

The current Resident Evil Requiem safe codes being circulated for completionists point to five combination safes tied to the No Safe Is Safe trophy or achievement, according to Loot Strategist’s Aug. 15 guide. Three are reported in the Rhodes Hill Care Center and two in the ARK. That same guide also notes an already-open safe in the Care Center Waiting Room, but says it does not require a combination.

The practical tension is that not every guide source presents these safes the same way. Loot Strategist gives directional inputs, such as Left 10, Right 80, Left 30. Vandal lists the same early safe numbers for several locations, but says direction does not matter as long as the player changes direction after each number and only confirms after the third number. An older Loot Strategist puzzle and weapons guide from July lists a different set of safe locations and codes, which conflicts with the later Aug. 15 safe-specific guide and with Vandal’s published entries for the Care Center safes.

For players who want the fastest, safest path through the locked boxes, use the directional Resident Evil Requiem combinations below. Where other sources corroborate the same number sequence, that is noted in the location sections. Keep in mind that the difficulty naming also varies across sources: Loot Strategist uses Casual / Standard and Insanity, while Vandal refers to Madness mode for the harder-code variants.

Quick current Resident Evil Requiem safe codes

These are the current combinations reported by Loot Strategist’s Aug. 15 safe guide. They are presented with directions because that is the least ambiguous way to enter them at the dial. Vandal’s guide reports that the starting direction is less strict than the notes suggest, but still says players must reverse direction between numbers and wait to confirm until all three numbers are entered.

Safe Area Casual / Standard Insanity
Bar & Lounge Care Center, West Wing Left 10, Right 80, Left 30 Right 20, Left 50, Right 30
Examination Room Care Center, East Wing Right 30, Left 10, Right 50 Left 50, Right 30, Left 90
Basement / Furnace Care Center Basement Right 60, Left 40, Right 80 Left 70, Right 50, Left 20
Sterilization Chamber ARK Right 10, Left 90, Right 20 Left 80, Right 50, Left 0
Monitor Control Room ARK Left 50, Right 60, Left 80 Right 20, Left 0, Right 70

If you only need the Resident Evil Requiem codes and do not want room-by-room hints, stop here. The next sections add light location guidance and sourced reward notes without walking through story beats.

How the dial safes actually work

Resident Evil Requiem’s safes are described by the current safe guides as numbered dial puzzles rather than keypad locks. Loot Strategist says the direction is part of the combination, meaning the three numbers alone are not enough. Its example is Right 30, Left 10, Right 50: turn to the first number in the listed direction, reverse to the second, then reverse again to the third.

Vandal’s guide differs on one key detail. It says it tested every safe and found that the initial direction does not matter, provided players change direction after reaching each number. Vandal also warns not to press confirm until the third number has been entered. Because these two instructions are not identical, the most conservative approach is to follow the full directional combinations as written above. That satisfies Loot Strategist’s stricter version while still following Vandal’s rule about alternating directions.

Loot Strategist also says players do not need to find the in-game clue first. If you know the correct combination for your difficulty, you can open the safe directly. That is useful in a survival-horror space where pausing over a dial can feel expensive, especially when enemies are nearby and the room audio is already telling you something is wrong.

Care Center safes: West Wing, East Wing, and the furnace route

The Bar & Lounge safe is the first major combination safe identified by Loot Strategist’s Aug. 15 guide. Loot places it in the Care Center’s West Wing, 2F Bar & Lounge, behind the bar. Vandal identifies the same general room as the Bar and Break Room in the west wing and says the safe is behind the bar in the northwest corner, although it describes the floor as the first floor. Both sources agree on the normal number sequence 10-80-30 and the harder-mode sequence 20-50-30. Loot gives the directional versions as Left 10, Right 80, Left 30 on Casual / Standard and Right 20, Left 50, Right 30 on Insanity. A TikTok discovery snippet for the Bar and Lounge safe also shows the standard directional code as left 10, right 80, left 30.

Loot Strategist says the Bar & Lounge safe contains 3 Antique Coins. Vandal says 3 Ancient Coins. That appears to be a naming discrepancy between sources rather than a disagreement about the count. Loot adds that the coins can be spent at the Parlor on upgrades. Both Loot and Vandal warn that enemies are in or around the area, with Vandal saying all infected enemies in the room will come after the player. If you are opening this one under pressure, clear the room first or enter the dial sequence without hunting for the clue.

The Examination Room safe is reported in the Care Center’s East Wing. Loot says it is in the Examination Room after gaining access to the East Wing, along the wall inside the room. Vandal says it is in the southeast corner of the Examination Room on a shelf. Both sources agree on the number sequence 30-10-50 for the standard version and 50-30-90 for the harder version. Loot’s directional entries are Right 30, Left 10, Right 50 on Casual / Standard and Left 50, Right 30, Left 90 on Insanity. Loot again reports 3 Antique Coins inside, while Vandal again calls them Ancient Coins.

The Basement / Furnace safe is the third Care Center combination safe in Loot’s current list. Vandal calls this the Tunnels safe and places it after the door west of the Furnace, in a northern office past an area with a zombie, a wheelbarrow, and one of the power outlets. The shared standard number sequence is 60-40-80, with Loot giving the full directional input as Right 60, Left 40, Right 80. The hard variant is 70-50-20, listed by Loot as Left 70, Right 50, Left 20. A TikTok discovery snippet for the furnace safe also cites Right 60, Left 40, Right 80. Vandal reports the contents as handgun ammo and a Mr. Raccoon Map for Rhodes Hill.

ARK safes: Sterilization Chamber and Monitor Control Room

Loot Strategist’s Aug. 15 safe guide reports two safes in the ARK: one in the Sterilization Chamber and another in the Monitor Control Room. These are part of its five-safe count for No Safe Is Safe. The provided Vandal excerpt begins a Sterilization Room entry and places that safe in the northeast corner of the room, which Vandal says players pass through as part of the story, but the supplied source text cuts off before giving the code or reward.

For the Sterilization Chamber safe, Loot gives Right 10, Left 90, Right 20 on Casual / Standard and Left 80, Right 50, Left 0 on Insanity. A TikTok discovery page references the safe code for the Sterilization Chamber and an underground safe, but the provided snippet does not include a full combination, so Loot is the only supplied source here with the actual numbers.

For the Monitor Control Room safe, Loot gives Left 50, Right 60, Left 80 on Casual / Standard and Right 20, Left 0, Right 70 on Insanity. The supplied source material does not include a second outlet corroborating this specific Monitor Control Room combination, reward, or room placement beyond Loot’s table. Treat that as the current reported solution rather than a cross-verified entry.

Which guide conflicts should you ignore while playing

The main conflict in the supplied source material comes from Loot Strategist’s older July puzzle, safe code, and weapons guide. That article describes a different set of safes, including a Care Center 1F West Restroom safe with 09-18-27, a Blood Lab safe with 31-05-14, a Sanatorium Basement Office safe with 04-22-11, and a Records Room safe with 10-04-28. It also says safes contain inventory upgrades, weapon attachments, and rare crafting materials.

Those entries do not match Loot Strategist’s later Aug. 15 safe-specific guide, which says Resident Evil Requiem has five combination safes for No Safe Is Safe: Bar & Lounge, Examination Room, Basement / Furnace, Sterilization Chamber, and Monitor Control Room. They also do not match the Vandal entries supplied for the Bar and Break Room, Examination Room, and Tunnels safes, which line up numerically with the Aug. 15 list.

For that reason, this Resident Evil Requiem safe guide prioritizes the Aug. 15 safe-specific article, Vandal’s matching safe entries, and the TikTok snippets where they corroborate individual standard codes. If you see the July codes repeated elsewhere, treat them as conflicting information unless a current guide or your own in-game clue confirms them.

Spoiler-light route advice before you spin the dial

If you are moving through these rooms with limited ammo or healing, the safest plan is to treat each safe like a noise trap even if the sources do not say opening the safe itself summons anything. Loot and Vandal both flag enemies around the Bar & Lounge area, and Vandal specifically warns that infected enemies in that room will pursue Grace. A dial interface is a bad place to learn that something survived behind you.

The Care Center safes are also worth doing as you pass through rather than saving for a late sweep. Loot reports Antique Coins in the Bar & Lounge and Examination Room safes and says they can be spent at the Parlor on upgrades. Vandal’s Furnace/Tunnels entry reports handgun ammo and a Mr. Raccoon Map for Rhodes Hill. Those are practical rewards in a game space built around resource pressure, and they are easier to justify when you already know the Resident Evil Requiem combinations.

For completionists, the key number is five. Loot’s current safe guide says five combination safes count toward No Safe Is Safe, while the open Waiting Room safe in the Care Center does not require a combination. Open the Bar & Lounge, Examination Room, Basement / Furnace, Sterilization Chamber, and Monitor Control Room safes on your active difficulty, and use the harder-mode codes only if your game is using the Insanity or Madness variant described by the guide you are following.
